Dr Merritt is a strong advocate of available dental care for all children. He is working with a state-wide task force to address this health need of the children in Alabama. Accurate reporting to the public of dental credentials by a dentist, and informed consent by parents before a dental treatment is performed on children, are topics in which Dr. Merritt is greatly interested.
